Amal Clooney

Amal Almamuddin was born Beirut. The Arabic term for "hope" is'ml. [9] Her family left Lebanon at the age of two years old, during the Lebanese Civil War, and settled in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze who is from Baakline, a village within the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din dynasty. He received an MBA from the American University of Beirut. Then he returned to Lebanon in 1991 [12][13] shortly after the close of the civil conflict. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She served as an foreign reporter and editor for the Saudi-run al-Hayat paper. She was the founder of the PR firm International Communication Experts. This company is a part of a larger company that is specialized in booking famous people photographers, publicity as well as event promotion. Amal is the youngest of three kids with a half-sister (Tala), and two siblings from Amal's father's previous marriage. Amal studied at Dr Challoner's High School located in Little Chalfont Buckinghamshire before going to the university. After that, she studied at St Hugh's College, Oxford which she was awarded an exhibition grant and the Shrigley Award. The graduate received her BA of Arts (BA) degree in the field of jurisprudence in. Following that she enrolled in New York University School of Law for graduation with a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M). The award she received was the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award for outstanding achievement in entertainment law.While studying at NYU she interned for a semester in the office of Sonia Sotomayor, then a judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and NYU Law faculty of the Second Circuit.
