StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her breakthrough role was in Miss Bala (2011), an Mexican crime drama film. Also, she was in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). On television, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both series. Sigman was born to her Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) and Lee Sigman, who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. By virtue of her father, she is the daughter of a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4]She is an U.S. citizen by virtue of her father. Her brother and baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her debut in film in Rio de Oro, she made her debut as a Mexican TV actor. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. The film was chosen for consideration as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscar Awards, but it was not included on the final shortlist. For her film performance, Sigman was nominated in 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award. She appeared in the Canadian documentary, Flight of the Butterflies the following year.
