Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian, television host, and performer from the United States. She's most well-known for her work as The Talk's morning co-host. Sheryl was born and brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl was raised in the midst of a challenging family. She was a child who spent a lot of time taking care of her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. She faced a lot of trouble with her mother while growing up. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier right after her graduation from college. However her interest lay in comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV profession in the year 1992 after she was a regular participant in the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest as host of Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Since 2011, she has been co-hosting the Talk show. She has played in fictional series including Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
