Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. The actress gained prominence in Australia for her role as Pepper Steiger, which she played over a 100 episodes in the Australian soap opera Neighbors between 2006 to 2007. Her debut project that she worked on in Hollywood was a choral comedy called Hollywood & Wine in which she played a young actress that is new to Hollywood. In the 9th series of Scrubs she played Maya who was a beautiful medical student. But, the show suddenly is canceled. Following that, she was able to film an episode of the Farrelly brothers comedy called Good to Shoot. It was starred by Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Thereafter the actress starred in short-form films as well as B series films. It was in 2013 that she started to get noticed to a wider audience. After being featured in six episodes of the drama about detectives Franklin and Bash and landing her first part on the regular cast of the web-series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia, the actress was offered a variety of roles. In the first two series, she also gives an answer to Chad Michael Murray. In the following season, she followed up with the role of a supporting character in two amazing feature films that were set in planes: one was a television film for SyFy Channel Flight 7500 The one Way Back with a cast of actors from television series as well as the action-movie Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage. The role she plays is that of an airline attendant. But above all she shares the logo for a brand-new TV series called Matador featuring Gabriel Luna. The season for this thriller, in which the actors play CIA agents directed by Robert Rodriguez, comprises only 13 episodes. She then continues to work on a pilot series that doesn't go as planned. In 2015 she then shared a B'series romance Borrowed Moments poster with Brian Krause and appeared in the comedy Witness for Rent, worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kaoco. Also, she is part of the large-scale distribution of Terrence Malick's experimental Knight of Cups. She is featured in five seasons of Satisfaction.
