Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen, born 6 May 1964, is a Danish actor. He is a Danish actor who has played Troels Hartmann the Copenhagen's mayoral candidate in The Killing. He was the President of Russia in an episode of the BBC drama Sherlock. In 2018 he was honored with an International Emmy Award. His performance in the Danish TV drama Herrens Veje earned him an International Emmy Award. The show aired in the UK in 2019under the title Ride Upon the Storm.
