Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to act, direct, produce, write plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's early memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at working. When she was a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto Ontario in order in order to pursue acting. The decade that followed, she eventually made the move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. Anna changed her religion to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's relationship and Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was highlighted in the list of CNN's all-time most viewed TV Couples and named the Top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's internet popularity increased due to the success of the series.
