Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also directed films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her childhood was spent in Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. She was raised by a mom who loved watching films. Paula was active in her school's co-curricular activities and particularly awed by drama. She played with her classmates and was a part of the school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actress decided acting was her chosen career. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. The first assignment was to be an assistant to production for TV documentaries after successfully completing her task. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. She loved her work however, she always wanted to pursue a career as an actor. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a tiny role alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she has been in numerous film and television shows.
